About Little Elm Life
Independent coverage of Little Elm, Texas — a town that grew up around a lake and hasn't slowed down since.
Why This Site Exists
Little Elm doubled in size in the space of a couple of decades, and most of the news written about it still treats it as a footnote to Frisco or The Colony. We started this site to cover Little Elm on its own terms — the Lakefront District, the 380 corridor build-out, LEISD's growing pains, and the practical stuff, like which local companies are actually worth calling when your AC dies in August.
Who Writes This
Coverage is organized around two desks. The Lakefront Desk covers the lake, parks, and the Town's growing entertainment district around The Cove and The Lawn. The 380 Corridor Desk covers development, schools, and the retail build-out along US-380 and the Dallas North Tollway extension. Home-services guides (HVAC, contractors, and our local business roundup) run under the Little Elm Life staff byline.
